All bats from 2024 will be legal in 2025, in addition to any bats that have the USA stamp on it.
2026 must have USA Stamp.
USA Bats will apply to Classes I – F.
League Classifications EE and E. Bats can be one or two-piece and made of wood, aluminum or composite and shall be a maximum of -3 using length to weight ratio. Ex: Length is 34 inches, and the weight is 24 ounces. 34 inches – 24 ounces = -10 length to weight ratio which would not be a legal bat. All bats in number 2 must have the BBCOR .50 rating stamp on the bat. Players moving up or down: bats must comply with bat rules for the class of the game they are playing with.
League Classification D shall use only wood or wood composite bats. Bamboo bats are legal.
Choke-up knobs are illegal for all classifications.
Softball Bat Requirements
The official bat may be marked OFFICIAL SOFTBALL by the manufacturer and shall be no more than 34 inches long nor exceed 38 ounces in weight. The official bat shall not be more than 2.250 inches in diameter at its largest part, including any tolerance for expansion.
The Official bat must bear the appropriate certification mark as shown below and must not be listed on the USA Softball Non-Approved Bat List with Certification Marks.
Any bat that is less than 30 inches in length does not need the ASA approved certification mark. For bats less than 30 inches in length, the thickest part of the bat must be 2 ¼ inch in diameter or less.
