Do I need to apply to be a Coach?
There is no application or formal vetting process, as this a volunteer position.
Do I need a background check?
Yes, you will need to complete a concussion course as well as a background check. They are good for 2 seasons.
My job requires a background check, can I submit that to be a coach?
Unfortunately we have to use BCI for our background checks and cannot accept background checks from others. There is a $25 non-refundable fee to complete the background check.
When should I get my background check?
Background checks should be completed prior to practices starting, we ask that your background check and concussion courses are completed in February.
