Coaching with NOHSL

There is a coaching interview  with the board for head coaches only. You will know if you are accepted as a head coach in January after registration closes.  

 All Hot Stove managers, coaches, scorekeepers (in the dugout), and umpires must comply with this law!

When your registration is complete you may "order" the free concussion course offered along the left hand side of the page. Continue following prompts. Although it may look like you'll be charged for the course, there is no cost.

Once you've completed "checkout," you'll be able to take the free online course and print a compliance certificate.

Who must complete: All coaches and any adult (18+) assisting at practices or games.
How to complete:

1. Go to the link below
2. Click Next, enter all requested information truthfully.
3. Type your full name to “sign” each disclaimer.
4. Submit payment.
5. Finish the application and download a copy if desired.
6. Watch your email for any follow-ups from NCSI and respond promptly.
7. Complete after 1/1/2027, as this is only good for two seasons, if you do it before 2027, your background check would only be good for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
